The Camel Lot Estate 2017 Premium Shiraz is a rich and full-bodied red that captivates with its velvety texture and bold flavours.
A respectful regime of 24 months in spent French oak gives this Heathcote Shiraz a nose of cedar and herbs, showing a beguiling, individualistic array.
A savoury core of cedar and herbs, plump, round and juicy enveloped in white spice with a gentle fine-grained persistent tannin structure. There’s a sweetish, fruit-driven palate and a lushness here too.
A noticeable piquant freshness of pomegranates and raspberries rounds out this oh-so-interesting Shiraz.
It is obviously of its region but an individual result.
